Dual Curve 5928 trouble shooting

Post by dherschell »

I have a 2000 Yukon w/ 5.7 gas and propane set up. Just bought it. I switch over to propane and I get nothing. I am seeing that I am not getting power to the solenoid that allows the propane into the mixer. The best I can tell it gets its energy from the 5928 controller. Does anybody have any knowledge of whether the 5928 is bad or how I can test that? Additionally, When I switch to propane the fuel gauge gives me an accurate reading of the fuel in my propane tanks. When I switch it back to gas, the needle pegs full for approximately 5 seconds then goes dead to empty. Is that info also flowing through the 5928 unit?

Thank you
