MM X-450 mixers havent been made for almost 15 years, maybe a bit longer now. Woodward acquired the rights to the mixer under what was a reported questionable license arrangement (there were conflicts as to who held the rights to the mixer, thus who had the rights to allow licensing). Woodward has the N-420 vaporizer which is a clone to the older X-1, along with a couple of other companies, like the B-2 in Australia and a couple of others here in the US. For what its worth, I have a couple of Woodward N-420's I acquired for a training project that are unused.

I would not recommend the X-1. Use an Impco EB instead, install an orange spring in it and it will work fine with the 450-mixer.

The EB is more durable, and rebuild kits are cheaper and more common than those for the X-1.
