how much power can a single 425 impco suppor

Post by Harmon3 »

How much power can a single IMPCO 425 mixer support in a turbocharged blow through mode? Im building a 355-383 small block chevrolet and a single turbocharger.

max RPM will be around 6000
Intercooled blow through setup
Vortec heads Stainless intake/inconel exhaust
copper head gasket with ARP head studs
4 bolt main, Forged crank ARP studs in the mains and ARP rod bolts
SCAT connecting rods
forged D-Cup pistons for supercharger/turbo (7.5:1 comp Ratio)
MSD ignition
Hydraulic roller turbo cam from comp cams.
maybe a water-methanol injection kit to keep things cool under boost.

what should be needed for the propane system? 1 or 2 425's?, 1 or two model E vaporizors? and what kind of shut off valve that wont shut down the fuel when the boost comes on?

i want to use the edelbrock air gap manifold with a holley carb base plate. Suggestions?
