200 more backfire resistant than 225?
200 more backfire resistant than 225?
I have seen pics of Impco 225 mixer post backfire in a tech manual. Later bought one for its throttle body and it looked exactly the same. Have heard and seen many backfires on 200 equipped cars and nevers seen or heard of one breaking. Anyone know this to be the case - 200 tougher than 225 design? The 200 does not have the delicate bridge support like mounting for the diaphragm.
