Technocarb Universal Bi-Fuel LPG Injection Parts Packages

Post by Frank »

On November 15th, Technocarb announced the availability of universal bi-fuel LPG injection parts packages for 4, 6, & 8-cylinder EFI engines. These packages are designed for use with most EFI engines and are priced competitively with fumigation systems. Each package comes with Window-based configuration software and detailed installation instructions. A laptop computer with an interface cable is required to complete the installation. A liquid filter is recommended to protect the propane fuel system.

While slightly more expensive than fumigation conversions, propane injection systems completely eliminate the possibility of intake manifold failures from backfires. Vehicles must already have OEM fuel injection systems and the LPG injectors follow the operation the gasoline injectors. That is, sequential injection systems have sequential LPG injection and batch injection systems have batch LPG injection.

I have been told by Technocarb that these systems will work on a supercharged engine like the one in my Harley F-150. Has anyone ANY feedback regarding such an install and the dual fuel gas/LPG implications? Don't want to spend the money and have something that does not work or fouls up the value of the truck.
