dual-fuel setup

Post by kaiser715 »

I'm gonna pull the dual-fuel setup from my truck.

This is currently on a running truck, you can see it run and drive.

Impco 425 mixer, Model E vaporizer
ASME 30 gallon propane tank
90* dual fuel adapter to attach 425 mixer to your carb
air filter
all the bulkhead fittings, electric solenoid valves, connectors you'll need
dash mounted propane/gasoline changeover switch
3 aluminum forklift tanks
2 forklift tank bracket sets (might have 3 if can find the other pair)

Also includes a throttle plate for the mixer if you want to run this as propane-only system.

Dual fuel components were purchased new in 2009, new hoses, mixer rebuilt at that time

Have new rebuild kit for the vaporizer (bought, didn't need)

This is off a currently running truck, system re-done in 2009 when I converted to dual-fuel (previously ran propane-only). EVERYTHING you will possibly need for the conversion is is included. (Except the gasoline carburetor and electric fuel pump (and I'll make a deal on that if you want absolutely everything). I'll help as I can to get it installed and running.

Located in Sanford, North Carolina $1000 OBO for all. Local pickup only. Open to trades of tools, etc.

Forklift tank and bracket mount -- I used to run propane on Jeep CJ for trailriding, put this in the big truck to finish off half-empty tanks.

Hard to see the main tank -- it is in the bed, up under the spare tire and toolbox:

This is a recent pic of the truck that the system is installed in. You can see run before uninstall.
