Hi Frank
phpBB has the ability to notify members when they are mentioned using a certain method (e.g. @Frank) in a topic. There is an extension called Simple Mentions that enables this. It would be handy as the forum is not visited as much by the old regulars as it used to be and people who come here for help may wait a long time for anyone with the knowledge to offer advice.

Re: Tagging members
I look nearly everyday, the forum is nearly dead and when we do get new users like today (or yesterday depending on the timezone) it is often a case of posts being looked at by alot of people but no one posts anything to help until long after the post was made. If I thought you knew about Ford GFi systems I'd have posted @Steptoe but your niche is mixer systems. If we had the ability to tag members typing @Franz and @C3H8 would have alerted them there is a thread that they would be the prime people to help the OP with their question.
