Re: Propane Tuning AFR and Lamda

Sold all my cars etc when retired a while back Spent a lot time on Data logger dialing in SB chev. With a single 425 found lean out started about 4400/4500 then got more serious around the 4900/5000. In practice, passing a large cattle truck (they are long in NZ) maybe doing 80/90km/h , the whole ma...

Re: Does anyone else have experience of running an engine into the ground?

Can an engine (motor) get so tired, it won’t run CNG yet still run Petrol? yes.. CNG requires a high cylinder pressure at point of ignition to work correctly.. higher than lpg. Forget compression ratio.. even high ratios can have low compression at point of ignition.. wear, cam profiles etc. These ...

Re: Impco accel Hesitation, poor idle when warm VY Commodore

do you have a link to any measurement to check? I mentioned before that C3H4 was very helpful in sorting this out.. and from memory the cover as well. It is all documented in older posts here.. we could be talking 10 or 12 yrs back now. From memory I simply changed/ swapped the EC1 cover with a std...

Re: Adding an elec. fuelpump to an Impco vaporizer+425 setup

Couple comments on posts above Leaning out.. On my basically std , built for LPG 350, on data logger.. real time and recorded, it would start to lean out around 4500, 4800 was getting to be of concern, then as happens in real life on road.. ie passing a long cattle truck (approx 45 mph) and trailer ...

Something weird in the user avatar selection settings
Cant change anything.
Even putting in the current url comes up with invalid.
Change to https comes up with cant establish size

I have pc in posts avatars etc linked to my server in a lot of places with no issues..
