Re: Bought my first propane van

I found some Autrotronics 8789-6 (Super Fix 1) installation manuals and have emailed them to you. Autotronics recommended the PN5952 for 88-92 Dodge vehicles and you might come across one on sites like eBay. The 5952 only did fuel mixture control and interfaced with the engine to prevent CELs. There...

Re: Bought my first propane van

The propane system should not affect your gasoline economy so I would leave in place, especially since the previous owner invested a significant amount to convert your van. Propane tends to be more expensive from places that sell low volumes of it. If there are any taxis or airport limousines still ...

Re: Adding an elec. fuelpump to an Impco vaporizer+425 setup

If it's not too inconvenient, could do one upgrade at a time? I would be interested to see what effect each has on its own.

Re: Adding an elec. fuelpump to an Impco vaporizer+425 setup

I think rotating the torroidal tank so that the pickup is at the rear of your Dart will fix your fuel starvation problem and will be far simpler solution than adding a fuel pump. Upgrading your line size to 8mm will also help. First, because it will reduce the pressure loss and second because it wil...

Re: Adding an elec. fuelpump to an Impco vaporizer+425 setup

If what you suspect is true about fuel slosh, an external electric pump might have a problem running dry during acceleration because it would still be supplied with vapor instead of liquid. What is the size of the liquid line from the tanks to the converter? Are the tanks oriented perpendicular or p...

Re: SSL certificate for this site?

Ads are disabled. They obviously help to offset the cost of running this site and I hope they weren't too obtrusive.

I'm using the phpBB-recommended ad management extension and the ads are served up from Google Adsense.

Thanks! There were some challenges moving to a new web host but I think I've got most of those issues sorted out now.

Site Offline 2018-11-15 to 19

I've had to move to a new web host this fall, which also included transferring my domain name registration. There was an issue with the account email address, which caused a problem with verifying the domain name ownership. This took way too long to resolve and I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

Re: Access Problems?

Thank you for the offer of help.

There has been a slight change in the configuration of the web server due to a change to my web account. The account change now includes a SSL certificate, and I expect to have this sorted out soon.

Re: Access Problems?

I only use a PC to access the forum and haven't noticed any login issues. A while back, one the members recommended switching to a secure site (ie, https) and I've been working toward this. I expect to have this operational soon but I do not expect that the web server changes would have any effect o...
