Re: Can I use the Bosch CNG injector for LPG?
hi C3H8, sorry I completely missed your reply. Thanks for that. I have done some research in the mean time and found a couple applcations running the Bosch 2200 CNG injectors. Asked around a little and from what I found the Audi G-Tron and Dodge 2500 Ram are using them for CNG...but....the 4 cylinde...

Re: Can I use the Bosch CNG injector for LPG?
cause I cant find any info on applications and Bosch doesnt seem to know their own shit (1st line support only sents me whats available on internet)...I did some calculations of my own. Maybe somebody can confirm or correct? Bosch 2200cc injectors flow 8,65kg/h (CH4=aardgas) = 19lb/h based on gasoli...

Can I use the Bosch CNG injector for LPG?
hi everybody, I successfully got my 454 big block up and running LPG vapour injection. Runs really well. I am currently using 2 ohm LPG injectors and a peak&hold board to drive them. [ur]http://www.facebook.com/77suburban I am helping others now also moving into LPG injection and looking for p...

Re: Twin impco 425 adjustment advice
Just curious, did you fix it?
Another buddy of mine has two 425 mixers on a Edelbrock blower on a big block and is also having tuning problems and going lean at higher rpms.

Re: drilling LPG injector bigger, but loosing power
FIXED IT! Only 70% duty cycle at WOT at allmost 4300rpm and LPG pressure is still around 150 kPa...BOOM! When I got my injection setup installed I had 2.65mm nozzles that resulted in over 100% (sometimes 108%) of duty cycle at full throttle and lpg pressure dropped. Replaced the reducer. Fixed the L...

Re: drilling LPG injector bigger, but loosing power
ignition is fine.
I went to a friend with a scope. He had no experience too bad, but we made a image of the voltage signal. He didnt have a current probe.
Is this OK?
this was idle, 700rpm and about 10ms puslewidth was commanded.

Re: drilling LPG injector bigger, but loosing power
That's the thing. Engine idles fine and is good up to 30%tps... So pulling leads at idle will not do a thing.

Re: drilling LPG injector bigger, but loosing power
I just recently uppgraded the complete ignition system to D585 LS ignition coils. All wiring is brand new. Even checked continuity recently, because of a different problem I was chasing. Plug wires are also brand new. LS_truck_D585_coils_driverside.jpg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n13QNC...

checked the plugs on the side where my wideband reads. They look fine.
Whats else in the ignition system should I look for?

Re: drilling LPG injector bigger, but loosing power
Looking at the screenshot of your datalog I see an event in graph 1 that appears to preceed (albeit momentarily) corresponding events in the other graphs. Graph 1 the yellow line drops dramatically momentarily before the lean spike in graph 5. You also have a rise in MAP (red line in graph 1) at th...

Re: drilling LPG injector bigger, but loosing power
we seem to meet everywhere ;-) ...doesnt help to meet you under different aliasses  but yeah, that was very valueable indeed. And youre welcome for qouting :-) as for the ignition. here is my ignition table. As you can see above 80 kPa MAP the timing drops from 34 to 29. Never had problems in t...

Re: drilling LPG injector bigger, but loosing power
from all I have read that is not quit true. LPG is a gaseous fuel and has no benefit for rich mixtures under WOT. liquid fuels like gasoline will get a cooling benefit from running rich mixtures, while with gaseous fuels anything more then stooich just adds heat and not power. source: check out 5th ...
