Re: Holidays

The picture of the burb covered in snow send chills down my spine. Downunder we are in heatwave conditions with temps ranging from 38-47 (Celsius) throughout much of the country. Looking forward to the monsoon restarting in the tropical north and sending some much needed rain to give this parched c...

Re: dedicated propane injection systems

thanks for the extensive eanswer C8H3. I guess it's not an option to retrofit a system like that on an old engine? only thing holding me back from installing a vapour injection system is that it will not start at low temperatures. From what I can find you always need a way to preheat the coolant. I ...

dedicated propane injection systems

hi guys, I havent gotten to retrofit my propane vapour injection system to my V8 big block yet. And I am always looking for new info. Especially if there are dedicated propane injection systems. All so far require a gasoline system to preheat the engine coolant to 40C and then switch to propane vapo...

Re: Electric warming of vaporizer/convertor?

No, but I'll look into it again when the need arises when I start using vapour injection. My plan for now, is to also keep the ol' trusty Impco vaporizer in the loop as primary, cold start fuel source, and once engine/coolant temp is at a certain level, then automaticly switch over to vapour inject...

Re: Electric warming of vaporizer/convertor?

BBM, did you ever research this any further? I am currently driving only LPG on my suburban, took the gasoline tank out. So really would love to stay single fuel. Maybe I'll keep the IMPCO 300 mixer for now, so I can start in cold weather conditions and switch to injection when its warm enough. but ...

Re: Building a fresh 360ci engine for mileage & power

as far as the divider plate. I have heard that TBI systems are allmost impossible to tune without a gap in the divider plate. Port injection wont mind and I guess carb wont either. There is a video on Engine Masters where they dealt with it they say something about it in this video at about 7:50min ...
