What is it?

Many yrs ago I picked up a few boxes of parts..mixers converters, LPG CNG
In the box is an aluminum ring with holes around the inside and 2 ports to feed from the outside
looks as if it fits on top of a petrol carb???

sounds like an old Vialle mixer, i never did like setting those things up, they always seemed so fussy. it did sit on top of the carb and the air filter housing sat on it, last time i saw one would have been around 1990 i think:)
i know this post is a little old, but thought you might still like to know what it might be..

the last 7 pictures are exactly what i remember about that system.
and what you have more then likely uses, all the adjustments are done on the vaporizer.
