I bought myself a new daily beater, a very clean 99 Renault Safrane with less than 100.000km on it. It has a Volve 2 litre 16 valve 4 cilinder in it. My previous daily also was a Renault Safrane, and it was dead reliable, the engine is still running strong after 450.000km on it but some major maintenance (exhaust, distribution, gas tank, ABS, clutch) force it off the road, matter of economics.
What is a good injection system for this car?
A Volvo specialist says Vialle, my usual LPG-garage says Landi.
In the past, Vialle had reliability issues with the pressure pump on the tank, resulting in expensive repairs (800 euro or approx 1100 US$). Maybe this has been solved in the meantime?
I know Landi is a big player in small engines gas systems, but dont have any experience with their material. Is it any good?
Vialle or Landi injection?
