Suggestion
Before uploading pic
1/Crop unwanted backgroud out
2/change width down to about 550 for forums
3/ when saving, use save as in file, choose jpg, options button, set at about 30%, change name so dont over write the orginal pic save then upload

Rather than using a host like photo bucket, use the forum, upload function....this loads the pic to the forum server, so if in the future the pic is deleted from the remote server, ppl can still refer to the pic as reference

eg edited pic here

Yes it is..but usually on techie type sites
Someone posts a model or a fix for something, the pic always stays

BUT be where do not hot link your pics to other sites becuse it loads the host site(this sites )servers, uses up their bandwidth at their cost...plus it is higly unethical and possibly illegel.
If u start to use sites like this..( the Admin has access to server logs that show stuff you would not believe...) they will get real upset at you.

I know I do on my servers and web sites.

Yes it is...

On hosting sites like PB and such, it doesnt mean the pics will still be there in 1 or 10 yrs from now..
On techie sites, some one may post a pic relating to say a 425 carb postion of say the idle mixture scew..or something
If its hosted at PB and disappears the pic is no longer avalible as reference for ppl looking for info
If it is loaded as an attachment to the post, its loaded onto the techie site server and will always be there..

Its hot linking from 'private type sites that is unethical.
