Uploading avatars to the forum is a good solution to prevent SSL-'warnings.
If you change the url of your avatar to include the 's' in 'http', will the avatar-image still work?
Code: Select all

Whenever someone has an image or even avatar hosted on an 'insecure' offsite location, this site will be shown as partially insecure as well.
In this topic's case, it's StepToe's offsite hosted avatar that causes the green lock to disappear in the topic.

The wrong LPG mixture can only be dangerous at a load. Too rich mixture at load is what (I recall) can burn valves as the mixture is still burning up hot when the ex. valve opens. I've had my 318ci (8.6:1) car engine idling/cruising at around 17AFR for long times. General driving around 16 and full ...

Tanks should have electric lock-offs and and use one-way valved T-connections to prevent overpressurizing neighboring tanks due to heat and pressure differences. Just in front of the vaporiser there's also a lock-off valve supposed to be installed (overhere at least). Both (all) valves should electr...

Are all the tanks oriented the same way? I have never delt with forklift LPG tanks myself, but I presume there is also a THIS SIDE UP-mark on it somewhere, to make sure the filler tube inside is at the bottom. My guess is the 2nd tank is mounted/rotated different and you're running on the tank's vap...

I collected together all the videoclips of the 11 dynoruns and added the results per run in the clip. Also tried to recall what was changed before each run, but my note-taking skills weren't up-to-par during the "dyno-fun" so only a few runs have info mentioned. I also have screenshots of the digita...

I too have Webmin running, but only on my 2nd Nameserver, and have DirectAdmin on my main-server.
In DirectAdmin it is a breeze to install a certificate. Takes about 12.2 seconds

We can get 8mm line and (tank)lockoff parts here easily. That would be my first upgrade to do. The current lockoff is a joke and seems to be ment for small engined cars, as I found its internal diameter is even smaller than the fuelline feeding it. Lockoff shown here: http://fuelsforum.rasoenterpris...

https only means the user's connection to the webserver is 'secure'. Has nothing to do with access on the webserver itself. I did noticed being logged out again today for no reason. Site response is slowish again after posting a reply. At least slow enough to raise doubts if the post is submitted co...

Had the car on the chassis-dyno again last monday. DynoDay #4 already  The very first DynoDay with 318 'managed' a shamefull 145hp at the rearwheels. During DynoDay #2 I managed to 'up' this to 170hp. DynoDay #3 was evenmore shameful as a switch to headers, X-pipe and Borla mufflers managed n...

I've personally always seen 'increased ignition advance' as a negative thing, as it means the combustion chamber appears less efficient and needs to start the fire earlier to provide max. burn at the right spot. But if it makes more power, then it must be good for something at least. Newer engines w...

Since my last post I've been quickening up the ignition curve which has woken up low-rpm range of the motor nicely. (Also with my 318ci engine) I always had based the max. advance of 32° at around 2800rpm based on Steptoe's experience, but I've now been lowering that point from 2800, to 2500 to 2250...

I have not been using a 'silly'
IMPCO 300 for a long time anymore because my setup runs on LPG only (425 carb), but even that air-valve could be 'automated' with a solenoid and a MegaSquirt ECU I would think.
