Re: Forumfix for the broken Photobucket images.

I'll be a bit busy in the next few days but I'm going to give this a try. Thanks!

Re: Forum Logo

After the upgrade, I was surprised to see the change in the logo.

As for the new logo, I like it. Thanks! Give me a few days to install it.

Re: 454 efficiency - Maximum CR

I could split this topic but I think BigBlockMopar added information about his own car for references to the points he was making rather than wanting to start another discussion. My understanding about improving fuel efficiency comes down to a two things: minimizing power losses maximizing combustio...

Re: Site Upgrade

If you have 2 windows open side by side of your 1920 px wide screen, wouldn't each window be 960 px wide?

Re: Site Upgrade

I believe the prosilver style does use both percentage and maximum pixel width. That allows the forum to scale correctly from mobile phone screens up to wide desktop screens. I find that it is difficult to read a continuous line on a very wide display because my eyes have to scan side to side in add...

Re: Site Upgrade

I was hoping the change in width from 1152 to 1280 would be more noticeable. I just changed it to 1920 px wide so it should take up your screen's full width.

Re: Site Upgrade

I think I found where to widen the forum and I increased it from 1152 px to 1280 px. How does it look now?

Re: Site Upgrade

I didn't want to take on the design of new style so I'm going to stick with trying ready-made ones for now. As for the wasted space, I thought that's what you meant Storm. I think the Prosilver style is designed to have a maximum width of 1152 pixels and I suspect this was done to make the text more...

Re: Site Upgrade

I think the request was to add FAQs a sticky topic, which would link to relevant posts in the forum. I thought that this could be done more cleanly and succinctly with a Wiki topic instead, even I was the only author. As you pointed out, Wikis need to be planned well but they can easily start off si...

Re: Site Upgrade

You're right that site traffic won't automatically increase just because I wish it would and there are already several active electric vehicle forums. I was thinking more about our own members when I suggested an electric forum. As for the other unused forums, my original thought was to give space f...

Site Upgrade

I just upgraded to the latest version of phpBB so you may notice some differences with this forum. It looks like I may have some follow-up work to do as I see some minor issues (eg, smilies on message edit page don't look right) but it seems to be working for the most part. On an topic about compres...

Re: 2,5 years of hell...

Welcome to the forum. When I got the car back that was running badly, although "at least 90% of the original HP's!" had been promised. I took the gas out (just the mixers , because they restricted the air intake by > 50% and I live 1.500meters above sealevel) Whatever I tried; the car wouldnt run. D...

Re: Ford 302EFI Windsor - Specs for NGC

The settings for the AEB Wolf-N timing advance processor may be found in the installation manual, which can be found on this page: AEB Wolf-N Timing Advance Processor The obvious switch positions for an 8-cylinder engine are: 1 - ON 2 - ON As for the amount of advance (switches 3 & 4), this is somet...

I think the Oil Filter link is still good but the webmaster appears to have some sort of block on linking.

Re: Electric warming of vaporizer/convertor?

Presumably, the need for an electric heater is a cold weather issue. Have you considered adding a block or circulation heater to your cooling system? It is very common to see cars "plugged in" overnight here in Canada.
