Re: IMPCO part # AB1-26
I find it very interesting that there doesn't seem to be a logic in part number sequence with Impco.

Re: Franz's email ?? sending phishing !!
If I could be a hermit and just communicate with the world via the net I'd be as happy as a pig in mud. Couldnt do that, or have the time, facebook stuff is just a time waster and personal data gatherer... I like real people , real things, real stuff. Maybe just old school  While I'm not a fa...

Re: after impco 425 hose connections....
hi, cant understand how if the 425 is bolted straight to the manifold where the petrol carby went , how can you still have dual fuel. ? The 425 bolts to a holley base plate which then bolts to the manifold. If you don't use a holley base plate and use a different attachment you can use (for example...

Re: Franz's email ?? sending phishing !!
Lol, in some ways we are similar in being opposite. I've been a mechanic for 29 years (yes I would go home and work on the family cars I wouldn't trust others to do a quality job so I did it), and a teacher for 14. I don't enjoy being a mechanic (as an employee), I do like teaching but there are alw...

Re: Franz's email ?? sending phishing !!
Thanks Steptoe for your helpful suggestions. I do know what to do but I really do appreciate you taking the time to help out anyway. I had a server running for a little while (it ran Debian Squeeze when it was first released) but my net connection is atrocious so I decided to do it with a provider u...

Re: Franz's email ?? sending phishing !!
Many "professional" spammers are in regions of the world that do not care about things like crime against people in other countries. Many use Tor so they cannot be traced by ISPs, although there is some evidence the NSA may be able to. Note, ISPs do not have the abilities agencies like the NSA do. I...

Re: Franz's email ?? sending phishing !!
Nothing here and nothing in my spam just because it appears it comes from a particular addy it doesnt mean it has. If you are talking about the actual person then yes you are correct, if you are talking about the persons email address then sorry but you can indeed be incorrect with some spam. Once ...

Re: Timing a 350 on Propane
Steptoe is the early bird who gets all the worms  I have found with GM engines anything over 10 initial makes the starter work to hard. My 308 (Holden but basic design is the same as a Chev) really struggles when warm with anything over 8 initial on a bog stock standard starter motor (admitedl...

Well done,
How long are your arms? Watching you on the bike stretched out to steer it made me feel very short.

Re: new guy needs help
Can I encourage you to go do the AUVIS course ? - NSW needs more guys like you that know your stuff and know how to access the relevant information. The $3000 bond has been scrapped and the 'blue' opens up the workscope immen$ely depending on the locale. I would consider it if I could just do rego-...

Re: new guy needs help
If the vehicle was anything but an Australian built F150 (yes we built them here and fitted fully imported engines) then there may be some confusion as to the status of the vehicle. However, regardless of imported or ICV what the vehicle was first registered with determines what rules apply to it. I...

I have to disagree Jono. There is nothing confusing about retaining the equipment the vehicle was built with.

Re: new guy needs help
over 2800 not under, You said the regs apply to vehicles under 2800, C3H8 is spot on the money and your truck is lighter than the weight you claim exempts you from having to retain emission controls. and not a phone call an email with attachment with all the trimmings you would expect from the nsw ...
