Re: 123 Ignition lamba controller flow valve
megapol also sells Lambda Probes, the Bosch LSH24 they are selling for 35€ is OK. For the TPS I suggest you get a microswitch for 50¢

Re: BLOS carb?
I didn't say that your carb is dead, my Impco is quite alive, too. I said carbs are dead. No OEM is installing carbs in cars for decades. If they were cheaper and better than injection systems you could buy them brand new in budget cars. This blos unit is available from Poland for 149€ now, but plea...

Re: BLOS carb?
I don't see any differences in theory of operation blos vs impco. Both are membrane operated airvalves. Impco uses a cone, Blos a slider. Very similar to a constat depression carburettor http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SU_carburetor You can't bring it close to a sequential injection without a feedback ...

Re: Can I run CNG with an additional regulator
Sorry, no bigger images allowed. Change the shown pressure reducing valve for ng to a full cng setup. Lpg and cng share the mixer in such a dual fuel settup.

Re: 123 Ignition lamba controller flow valve
Take a closer look at the drawing and you'll find that it also senses vacuum and has an rpm input. This is a mechanically well made high-priced unit. As a Stag-XL costs no more than 32€ plus also incorporates throttle angle, I guess this 123 unit has a hard time on the market. Stag: stagxl.jpeg Oh, ...

Re: Best temperature for the converter?
Has anybody tried those inline thermostats yet ? They are common on fork lift propane setups and limit the coolant flow in the return line from the converter.

Re: Megasquirt on chevy small block 350
I had a VW Polo once that had an electric fuel shutoff valve in the carburetor body, activated by a relay on deceleration. MY85.
A 6 speed manual with overdrive should do the trick, plus you could leave the axle ratio untouched.

Re: Megasquirt on chevy small block 350
So what's your fuel consumption on Petrol and LPG right now ? If your 86 Q-Jet is already a feedback system, you could use that for a o2 controlled LPG setup with your Impco. I'm getting 13L/100km on petrol and 14.5L/100km on LPG with a computer-controlled Q-JET and 300A on a 307 OLDS. Only the new ...

Re: closed loop controller for propane carbs
Controlling the WB Sensor is not easy, even most aftermarket ECUs including megasquirt leave this task to external devices and just expect an input of 0-5V with 2.5v being lambda=1. WB controlling devices used include http://14point7.com/SLC-OEM.php Or the Innovate LC-1 Both increase the overall cos...

Re: Dual tank LPG system, 1 T-fitting.
As you live in the EU, the only way to have a street legal multiple tank set up that complies to ECE R-67 regulations is to use an approved coupler block with check valves. The only one I know of is offered by Prins. Plus, it must be ensured that only one tank is connected to the regulator at a time...

Re: TBI to semi-sequential MPI (VW Passat)
Hi Frank, no I don't know anybody who owns a TBI V8, as they are pretty uncommon over here. The Haynes manual I have for my 88 Brougham also covers those engines, as they were available in later model years. I just figured that the way these systems work is almost identical to the Bosch TBI, hence a...

TBI to semi-sequential MPI (VW Passat)
Hi, this is our MY88 VW Passat Variant family hauler powered by the unbreakable 1.8L 90hp TBI engine, 300Tkm on the odometer. The car itself is uninteresting, but the conversion might be of interest to those of you who want to convert a TBI engine like the 305 OR 350 Chevys from the early 90ies usin...
