Re: turbo propane set up
model E sits flat and model L sits vertical ( outlet down ) with its back to firewall . both tee together on the main delivery line to the mixer this way i have both setup so they cannot collect the various condensate mustards that can come in the LPG blends and that at any moment i have at least on...

Re: turbo propane set up
PS in lieu of a VPV..( vacuum power valve ) . i needed something i would trust into boost ( VPV not rated for boost though it may survive for a time or may/ may not work with an NRV installed in the hose ) i instead use a HP lockoff solenoid . mounted off the LP side of the convertor .. through a pi...

Re: turbo propane set up
my thoughts are the 225 is inherently designed to take boost and will flow more than enough for the v6 ( it is also common as mud to have the 225 setup on the end of the TB hoses for the GM 3.8 v6 in oz .. not too many 425 setups though ) you just sit it upstream of the stock TB ( i have this on min...

Re: turbo propane set up
because you dont build an efi system so it runs at continuously at high duty. OP wants 300 whp .. prinz is 6 x 50 whp ( best case scenario . clearly less efficient motors or those needing richer mix to get combustion stability will be less than this ) and you are running the injector at high duty cy...

Re: turbo propane set up
a draw through mixer has to be sized correctly for the flow it will make at WOT and revs and will be so large as to make part throttle responses poor there also needs to be front encapsulated seal on the turbo as there is the possibilty that the gas fuel can enter and contaminate the turbo oiling sy...

profire vapour injection in action
thought i would share with you some pics and a vid of a rare bird. a profire programmable vapour injection system this one is setup on an FC rx7 ( 1989 ) and is running the stock coils and the idle control and even taking lambda feedback. profire use keihin injectors and they each rate about 50 hp a...

Re: Al-gas 60 mixer ,, c-250a reg.
i havent had or seen one before too. but going on the position and apparent runner below the gas port seems as if the brass screw is used to equalise some of the pressure in the gas line above the diaphragm, and thus tenuate the spring pressure there .. much like the regulator on an external wastega...

Re: The old girl only starts if I manually suck on the vff30
sucking on the ref vac line is leaning the mixtures down / whilst pressing the primer is richening things up maybe you are initially over priming? have you tried starting it without priming? ( crank it longer , use a few jog bursts to pull the vapour through when cold ) .. or restarting it without p...

Re: stalls hot and wont start
sounds very much like an LPG car that has a low level in the coolant system as such , the LPG will only flow ( as a vapour ) for a short period until the vapouriser freezes over , and the engine then leans out and stalls given some time the fuel in the vapouriser melts and the engine will eventually...

Re: Propane Vapor Barrier
im thinking you might be able to make a water trap barrier by gravity draining the water in the ice block via a tube to the bottom of another vessel that is already half filled with water thus the tube holds a level of liquid water in it and no propane will pass through ( or drain ) and the level in...

it is also leaking out, in vast quantities a thousand times more than every disconnecting pump nozzle everyday from natural sources , under seas, lakes , wells , wetlands forests and deserts and has been for millions of years and will continue to do so . regardless what we do with it and also from m...

welcome ! users on here will often give you information specific for their region, and you will have to weed out what is suitable for you NZ and australia have some of the stricter LPG regulations and laws and they may have to go the extra mile in some areas to be compliant that you may not have to ...

Re: dyno testing lpg 1.4 turbo 8 valve
:D thanks for posting you may next also wish to log exhaust temps pre turbo to get a better idea for the best mixtures pushing LPG a little rich under boost yields more power like you have seen ,, but pushing a little further richer may have drastic effects on exhaust temps before you see the downtu...

Re: High performance NA LPG build
maybe look sideways at the profire LPG vapour ecu ( from WA ) before you bite off fully on a megasquirt ?
im thinking plenty of drivers for sequential LPG injectors and still with COP not restricted in dwell by wastespark

Re: programmable ignition
andrewmx83 gave you a huge hint how to make the black box work for cranking at a fixed time position ie... incorporate a edis ignition module in EDIS.. the module has two roles it does your VR signal conversion for the ecu,, and it sends the ecu a 5V square wave signal and the ecu is in charge follo...
