Re: LPG injection, AFR goes pisrich on first cold start
ok it's up to you. I've heard it is useful and even though it was initially designed for liquid fuels if the settings are correct it should work for gaseous fuels as well. I've just spent the last hour looking at your msq file. Here's some things I've noticed which you may want to look at and/or exp...

Re: LPG injection, AFR goes pisrich on first cold start
Ok got it, will look at it and see if I notice anything. Are you using WUE Analyse? No I heard it sucks. Never used it Create a backup of everything you currently have so you can revert if required and then give WUE Analyse a go. I've just got home from work and won't get a chance to look at your b...

Re: LPG injection, AFR goes pisrich on first cold start
Interesting logs. do you have a copy of your tune file for each of the logs you have listed in that thread? I am thinking along the same theory as the person who mad the next post in your thread. I think you have clashing settings or maybe even a problem with the coolant flow to your regulator and a...

Without looking at your logs, I haven't got an MSMLV installation ATM, I'd suggest you permanently change your WUE at temps you have the issue at. I'd also check and make sure you haven't got VE Analyse live working during warm up. I'll try to take a look at your logs over the weekend.

Re: Twin impco 425 adjustment advice
Ok, just out of interest sake test the flow settings anyway. Maybe there is a flow difference between the 2 that can't be found any other way. If that doesn't shed any light see if the restrictor is in the gas inlet.

Re: Twin impco 425 adjustment advice
When running 2 carbs, of any type, you need to make sure the base settings are identical before fitting them. Have you set the base plates and checked they are running the same? I suggest you watch this video to show you what I mean https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SRwZPWxC3Sg When you say running le...

Re: Vff30 with ohg vacuum hookup
First of all, I calculated that wrong, and am running closer to .88 or 13.7:1. I thought that is where best performance is achieved, but now that you have me doubting myself, Best performance is achieved at wide open throttle not while cruising or idling. If you have a vacuum gauge I wouldn't be th...

Re: MM X450 mixers available!!!!!!
My X450 arrived today. I will have a good look at it on the weekend.
I'm thinking of doing some testing in Fusion 360 to draw an adaptor for the X450 to Quadrajet and if I can use a 3d printer at a school I'll print it off and trial fit it. if it works I'll cast my own adaptor.

Re: Vff30 with ohg vacuum hookup
0.85 lambda is approximately 13-1 why are you running so rich "in all other conditions"?
You certainly do need to richen up at WOT but I wouldn't be ignoring you over rich condition at other loads.

Re: MM X450 mixers available!!!!!!
Proquip are able to get me a Gann A9-1 which adapts the X450 to a Holley 4 barrel baseplate, but they are unable to find a Gann A9-7 which adapts the X450 to a Quadrajet baseplate. Does anyone know of an A9-7 that is available that I can get?

Re: MM X450 mixers available!!!!!!
I purchased 1 of these yesterday and it has been sent already. I've been onto Proquip in Canada and they are helping me get baseplate adaptors so I can run it.

Re: More Air Flow for a Model 425 on a 327 SBC
When hunting for torque the only stock stroke small block better than a 383 is a 400, I really do like your choice. My old 1977 TA had a 2 core radiator when I bought it and from my research that was factory fit for a non-AC car. Due to extremely high heat potential in Australia and the fact I would...

Re: More Air Flow for a Model 425 on a 327 SBC
Hi Marc Wisdom comes with age... Are you calling me old? Of course, it is nice to think of all the power of a large performer engine. Very true and when planned well the fuel consumption of a well developed, built, tuned, and driven engine can be quite good. When I owned my Trans Am (1977 Band...
