ASME Motor Fuel Tank Sources?

Hi All, I am nearing the point where I will need to work out the tank install for my Hotrod ('38 Chevy Pickup/Lakes Modified) and have struck out completely for anyone selling motor fuel tanks. Can anyone tell me who in the U.S. sells low volume? A couple I have seen require volume purchase or will ...

There is a port just above the power adjust screw that is at a 45* angle to the left (away from the idle adjust screw) that appears to be a candidate. The pull rod on the vacume diaphram that I have is too long to affect full opening on the secondaries, but shorter versions are available from Holley...

Nope. A Holley 4 barrel base plate is bolted to the Impco 425 to become the throttle valve and adapter to the mainfold.

Secondary linkage on Impco 425?

OK, before I go and convert my vacume secondary throttle plate to mechanical, I have a question. While disassebling my Holley to move the base plate over, I noticed 2 threaded bosses on the Impco 425 that looked to be just like those on the Holley required for mounting the secondary throttle vacume ...

Found one!

A friend came through with a Holley 600 cfm cheap enough that I snatched it up. For future reference, it is an 1850-3 model 4160 with vac. secondaries. The bores are 1 9/16". They are slightly smaller than the bores on the impco, but look to be just fine. The 1 11/16 bores on a 750 cfm base are prob...

Holley Base Plate

It's funny how the venerable Holley has almost gone extict. Try as I might, there are no good used examples to be found in my area. Does anyone have a line on where to get a good used square bore base plate, or carb for that matter? I have found plenty of new pieces online, but they are almost as ex...

Great Price, Quick Delivery on Mixer

After shopping the web for weeks, I made contact with Hendrix GasTrux in Wauconda, IL. A tech by the name of Todd was more than helpful and confessed to driving a converted Mopar. Take a look at http://www.hendrixsystems.com and give them a call. My Impco 425 was too cheap to mention, and I had it i...

Gratuities all 'round!

Having just joined the ranks I would like to introduce myself, but first, Thanks to the likes of Frank Raso and Franz Hofmann for bringing their knowledge to the party! The same to those I'm not yet familiar with. My name is Scotty. I am a native of Texas with a good background in chassis fabricatio...
