Re: new shop
Your new shop looks great. One of the smartest things I did when I built mine was to put in a grease pit. It is incredibly handy to be able to walk around under your car without worrying about jacks, etc. The surrounding soil makes it cool in the summer and warm (at least in Washington) in the wint...

You know road tax may explain something I thought was really weird. In 1990 I travelled from BC to California in my single fuel propane /6 Dodge. We took I-5 to CA state highway 46. 46 to Paso Robles and then 101 to Santa Barbara. We were in a bit of a hurry (girls awaited) so we drove straight thru...

They've got a website here but they unfortunately don't have details there for conversion products.
Jasper (PDF) has a couple pictures (about half way down).
For US$165 you might want to see if you can rob something that'll fit of a vehicle in a junk yard.

Hello Melvin, I'm an old 2.2 TII Shelby Charger fan, started turbododge.com with Mike V back 5 years or so. Glad to see you here, I'll be sizing a LPG for my turbo neon and turbo subaru and it will be good to some others in the 4cyl+boost range. If I can find a mixer that doesn't break the bank I'd...

Why LPG
Thank you for your help so far. Nobody local can understand why I want to do this. Whenever I tell someone what I'm trying to do, all I get is a really big WHY?!?! Imagine the boost you can run on 105 Octane is all you have to say. Once they compare the price of race gas to propane they at least st...

Re: parts
No parts, sorry. PropaneGuy has pretty good parts selection and prices too. With the 200, AF ratios are real easy to change too. The top cover is integrated with the mixer body. The air inlet has a smooth inlet and keeping couplings intact at high boost is indeed a real problem. Remember, that when...

I just had a question about propane carbs. Up to a point boost should work fine but once the gas valve reaches it's max travel how does more gas continue to flow? To me it seems the mixture would start to lean as you continue to make the air more dense. I think I can answer this, someone please cor...

I've never even seen a 200 before, they look nice and compact though. Anyone got one they'd like to trade for a 425? Poor idle was a concern but I couldn't see anyway around using a 425 and still feeding 275hp. I was thinking of staging a pair of 225s but I couldn't figure out how the heck to manage...

2.5L Turbo -> 425 questions #1
I've mentioned my project in passing but it's getting down to go time and I have a couple questions if anyone can help. The project is an 89 Voyager SWB minivan with the factory 2.5L turbo and A413 3spd transmission. These vans are capable of mid 12 seconds with essentially stock internals at upward...

The differential to gas used to be a lot better.
When I first started running propane the price would drop as low as 7 cents a litre, gas was ~35-40. $5 fed to my /6 would get me from Kamloops to Victoria to visit my girlfriend and I'd have change left over for a coke along the way. If you want to feel a bit better it's not really fair to compare ...
