what if i was to buy an 07 vw gti? It is a 2.0 turbo with 200 hp and there are companies out there that have ECU programs specifically tuned for 100 octane race gas. Will this be a good match for a propane conversion.

What compression ratio is needed for a propane conversion.

Is there a certain compression ratio you need to have for a propane conversion? The engine i want to run is 10:1. I heard that you should have 10.5:1-13:1, is this true or can i still run my engine as is?

How much would a conversion like this run me and if possible just give me a general run down on running propane(I'm new ...

Where to buy alcohols and which one is best to run a car on.

I was thinking of buying a 1997 jetta 2.0 manual as my daily/winter beater and possibly run it on some sort of alcohol. I've heard that butanol is cheap but has a very low octane rating. I'm pretty new to this stuff, so i just want to see what people think would be the best alcohol to run. And does ...
