yes we have snow here . 2 1/2 feet in owen sound area.. More than 3 feet on the ground in some places in collingwood .And that is first hand knowledge since i fill residential propane tanks in this area.The truck is easier to start now than when it was on gas [manual choke 4 barrel] and no flat spot...

thanks for advice,I will leave things alone and drive as is.truck works great on propane and fuel economy is good.Was 12 liters for round trip on gas to work,now takes 13 on propane.Have not had time to experiment with main adjustment screw yet so maybe I could still squeaze a couple more miles per ...

there is nothing wrong with my impco 425.I just thought that I should replace the valve to prevent problems.The lockoff and model E were very dirty and in need of kits.I just thought I should renew the mixer??these components were used when i bought them then they sat in my shed for a couple of year...

I want to order a gas vavle for my 425. I see that there are two available. One is Gas Valve 425 Mixer Feedback Silicone AV1 1651-2 and the other is a Gas Valve 425 Mixer Lean Silicone AV1 1644-2. received kit for lockoff and model E from frank.Excellent service,thanks.How do you know when it is time to rebuild the impco 425?Should I put a kit in it or wait for problems.Is it a difficult procedure?

Model E was in need of a kit.Rusty deposits inside but not as bad as lockoff,,metal on diaphram cracked,antifreeze was seeping out the side of it.

Thanks,I have quite a few things to check now.When the engine was on gas I used to set the timing by ear .I would set it so there was no spark knock under load at full throttle.I tried to do this with propane and [like you state] I could not hear a spark knock no matter where i put the dist.I will h...
