dual fuel injector simulator
I have a 2001 3.9 dodge with dual fuel system from dualcurve. Problem I have is the injector simulator is starting to fail. Misfire codes and open injector circuit. Can the simulator be repaired?

What I was thinking was maybe change the regulator or the vapor hose to a smaller one then have it switch on only when the cruise control is activated. I may just engineer something to fool the PCM manually and keep it working.

I have fuel injector simulator on my dodge and it can't find another one that is good. I was thinking could l put a switch on the fuel injection relay? Will it trip a code?

I seemed to solve the problem. The dualcurve box failed in controlling the fcv. I contacted carb&turbo in MN I purchased digital controller and tapped into the harness it does a great job. I pulled the 1" Vapor hose to fix other problems and found heavy end build up about an inch from the reg that was closing the hose off to about 1/2" internally for about 3"... The big question where do I find one? Easy to replace two wires one screw. What can be used as a replacement? I think it works like IAC solenoid [Idle air control] does the same thing on a bigger scale.

Franz, I did pull off the hose slowly and it did what you wrote stumble/smooth. With the voltmeter on the fuel control valve I would adjust and watch the meter I had it leaned out to the point of killed the engine and the other way rich to the point I could smell it.
