Re: Fuel Lock Off issues.

Alright, I figured I'd jump in with a quick update. Went ahead and had a go at rebuilding the lock-off only to discover that its innards were missing (i.e. it was hollowed out). Got a new lock-off and filter from the local propane place, as well as a rebuild kit for the regulator (decided to go ahea...

Re: Fuel Lock Off issues.

If I get desperate enough I might give that a go. But the idea of disassembling a 30 yr old lockoff and managing to keep all its original gaskets intact seems dubious. There is one local propane parts dealer across town that I'll check out tomorrow, though I'm not holding out much hope that they'll ...

Re: New Member! ...old lpg conversion.

No, the tanks are dry. You can knock on 'em and tell. Evidently the key to the gas caps was lost years ago. I really don't see myself wanting to use the gasoline system anytime soon. Why would I when I have nice clean and (relatively) cheap propane available just down the road? Still, since the syst...

New Member! ...old lpg conversion.

Hi there. So yah, I'm new here. Honestly, I've been interested in a lpg vehicle for quite a while now, I even bought an ol' 65 Chevy pickup last year w/ the intention of doing my own conversion. Unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately), the truck was vandalized pretty badly shortly after I got it, and...
